This six-part Construction Leadership Series is a transformative program designed to empower future leaders in the construction industry with a comprehensive skill set for success. Beginning with the foundational exploration of individual leadership styles in "Discovering Your Leadership Voice," the series progresses through essential themes such as teamwork dynamics, community engagement, interpersonal awareness, and effective communication. A unique hands-on component, "Community Volunteer Day," takes participants beyond traditional learning environments, instilling a sense of social responsibility. The series culminates in specialized modules focusing on honing communication strategies tailored to the construction industry and navigating the intricate landscape of government affairs. By the program's end, participants not only possess technical expertise but also exhibit authentic leadership, fostering collaboration, community impact, and adept navigation of regulatory challenges in the dynamic construction environment.
WHEN: Multiple scheduled dates throughout 2024 - Feb. 29, April 18, May TBD, Sept. 11, Oct. 17, and Nov. 14 (Nov 14th-Class will start at 10am). The series workshops are generally full-day commitments commencing from approximately 8 AM - 3 PM.
WHERE: The series will primarily take place in-person at the NWAGC Spokane Office, located at 4935 E. Trent Ave. Spokane, WA 99212.
INVESTMENT: The full leadership series investment per participant is $1,800 for the year. This covers class attendance, all course materials and lunch for all workshops throughout the series.
