SUMMARY:2027 AGC Leadership Series
DESCRIPTION:2027 Leadership Series: "Leading with the Best"The Inland Northwest AGC 2027 Leadership Series is a launchpad for promising construction professionals who are ready to lead. Across six modules\, participants learn from industry-acclaimed speakers\, build the skills and confidence to lead within their organizations\, and earn a certificate recognizing them as one of our industry's emerging leaders. For 2027\, the series moves to a condensed format: three two-day sessions\, one month apart\, so each cohort builds momentum and finishes in less calendar time. Session 1 opens with Lead Yourself\, Then Others\, where participants discover their communication style and set performance goals\, followed by Communicate to Build the Team\, a practical day on listening\, conflict\, and trust. Session 2 pairs Communication: How You Show Up Matters\, which explores how mindset shapes communication\, relationships\, and performance\, with Advocacy\, where participants join the AGC lobbying team to meet local\, state\, and federal elected officials and discuss the issues facing our industry. Session 3 takes learning outside the classroom with a Community Outreach volunteer day\, then closes with Teamwork\, a seminar and hands-on\, job-site-focused workshop. Networking happy hours and a completion celebration give the cohort time to build relationships that outlast the program.WHEN: February 24 25\, March 25 26\, and April 21 22\, 2027. Workshops are full-day commitments\, approximately 8 AM 4 PM.
