DESCRIPTION:Fall Protection - Competent PersonParticipants in this course will learn how to work at heights safely to prevent tragic accidents.  This training enables workers to identify risks\, use safety equipment correctly\, and adhere to safety guidelines\, promoting a safer workplace.Our course comprehensively covers topics such as equipment\, inspections\, operations\, common risks\, and rescue procedures. This course is aligned with OSHA & WACs standard requirements:  OSHA 29 CFR 1926   ConstructionWAC 296-880 Unified Fall Protection StandardsThe following topics are covered as part of this training:Fall hazard identificationFundamentals of working at heightFall protection oversightWorksite programsPassive systemsAdministrative controlsFall protection planningFall arrest system componentsPositioning systemsEquipment careRescue overviewSystem analysis *Cancellation PolicyThe customer has one week (5 business days) prior to the start date of the selected class to cancel the registration or transfer to another class\, to clarify\, if the class is on Tuesday\, you must cancel by the Monday of the preceding week.If cancellation occurs within one week of the class (5 business days or less)\, the customer must replace the canceled registrant or forfeit the registration fee. All funds must be paid before the first day of any given class in order to guarantee class placement\, otherwise the class will be filled with waitlist participants. All course withdrawals must be done through the Inland NW AGC in writing. Any class payments will be transferred to the next available class pending attendee approval.
