Join us for a night of fine dining, fine drinking, and fine friends. This is a great chance to take your spouse on a date while still accomplishing a little networking, or to reward some of your hardest working staff this year. Water2Wine cruises will be our host as we spend 2.5 hours cruising the Columbia River.  We will enjoy a 4 course dinner (entree will have 2 meat dishes and a vegetarian option for those who request it) with drinks from the bar during the cruise while we gather on the deck to watch the sun set, the stars come out, and toast to summer coming to an end.

We are also excited to announce that several special guests will be joining us on this cruise. 

From the 8th legislative district Rep. Stephanie Barnard and Rep. April Connors, along with Senator Matt Boehnke, will be joining us to meet with you and discuss your business challenges and how the legislature can help. Rep. Barnard founded the Nuclear Energy Caucus in Olympia and is open to discussions on all things energy, and is responsible for committing state dollars to the Tri-Cities in pursuit of building next-generation nuclear reactors in the Hanford area. Rep. Connors is a local real estate agent and has agressively targeted legislative issues that can help or are inhibiting continued housing development in our state. And Sen. Boenke is a long-time AGC ally with an imporant seat on the State Ways & Means committee, which oversees Senate approval on the state's budget and bills requiring budget funding. He is also an Army Veteran who developed skills in cybersecurity, is currently director and lead professor for CBC's cybersecurity division, and is one of the few members in the legsilature with the knowledge and skills to guide oversight on laws pertaining to our rapidly growning cyber-based economy. 

On this cruise we will take just a few minutes of your time to discuss how these three legsilators, and others like them, have done great works to help our industry in Olympia. How ensuring that more like them can be elected, and how ensuring that Democrats don't achieve a supermajority in the legislature is of paramount importance not just to our industry, but to our region and our state. We will share some of the other candidates we support statewide (primarily Republicans, but also select Democrats to ensure we maintain a strong voice in Olympia) as well as in our county offices and city councils. And we will share what AGC's Build East PAC has done, and will continue to do, with member's financial contributions. 

Most important of all we will be on the river to celebrate another great year in construction and in AGC membership.
